Through the years, I’ve been a laborer on a cotton farm,
a worker in factories (for auto parts and axe handles),
an office boy, a junkyard sifter, a newspaper reporter,
a writer—and (for decades now) a day-job book editor.
I’ve always enjoyed reading history, biographies,
and stories and poems.
I live with my wife of forty-some years
in the evening shadow of the Cascade Mountains
in central Oregon USA.
We’re blessed with five married children
and sixteen grandchildren.
THANK YOU so much for your interest in The Shavad!
